Wednesday Ávila Literature devote one week to Santa Teresa

The culture cycle “Wednesdays Literature” Classroom José Hierro, performed in the Episcopio de Ávila, will spend the week 23 to the 29 March to the figure of St. Teresa of Jesus in the celebration of the V centenary of his birth.

The cycle began with the presentation of the book-CD dedicated to La Santa "Light of the word", conducted by the Spring Folk Group and funded by the Provincial Government, collecting poems of the same Teresa and other authors as José Pulido, Carlos Aganzo, José María Muñoz Quirós, Clara Janes and Antonio Colinas.

On Monday 23 March, under the title "Three Voices, Three Books ", will be presented, by Carlos Aganzo, of his work 'The land of Nod', Prize awarded the City of Salamanca. Fermín Herrero submit 'Gratitude’ and José María Muñoz Quirós will do the same with his work 'Female sigular'.

On Tuesday 24 March Minerva Margarita Mexican authors José Javier Villarreal Villarreal and present a vision of St. Teresa from across the pond and the next day will be Antonio Colinas which lead to Episcopio'La Snow Eyes', anthology Memorial Award for Literature Teresa of Avila 2014 and final edition of the Interior Castle Collection, set in the Far East.

Another author awarded the Prize Teresa of Avila of Letters, Clara Janes, will focus for a series on Thursday 26 March with an anthology of Santa Teresa and Teresa week will close on Friday 27 with the presentation of the special issue of the literary magazine The Cobaya’ dedicated to La Santa.

All activities will take place at 20 hours in the Episcopio with free admission until all places.
