The V Centenary of St. Teresa raises high interest
The patronage of Foundation V Centenary of the Birth of St. Teresa of Jesus has appointed Catela Isidro Marcos how come new Managing Director. For appointment patronage has valued its extensive experience in the social and religious spheres, and ability to manage teams and coordinate activities.
Father Antonio González, President of the Foundation, stressed that "Isidro Catela work so that the message of St. Teresa of Jesus reaches today's society."
Isidro Catela born in Salamanca, in 1972. Currently serves as professor at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. He is a journalist, writer, PhD in Information Science and has directed the Information Office of the Spanish Episcopal Conference for ten years (2004-2014). He is married and the father of three children.
It has also been deputy spokesman for Spanish language, at the Synod on the Eucharist (The Vatican, 2005) and communications director Benedict XVI's visit to Santiago de Compostela and Barcelona (2010).
Regular contributor to social media and is author several books, among them "Interviews with twelve Spanish bishops" (The Sphere, 2008) and "connected Children. Education in the Digital Age " (Word, 2012). Also, has received numerous literary awards, particularly microrrelato, Short stories and poetry.
Isidro Catela is replacing Jose Luis Vera Llorens, whom the patronage appreciates the work done in the Foundation V Centenary of the Birth of St. Teresa of Jesus.
