The OSCyL and Paul Goodwin commemorate the V Centenario with a work by Haydn

Next Thursday, 26 March, to 20 hours, in Auditorio Miguel Delibes of Valladolid, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (OSCyL) adds to the commemorations of the V Centenario with a concert in which they will perform 'The Seven Last Words of Christ on the cross’, of Haydn which will be led by British Paul Goodwin.

This work has been chosen to commemorate the importance for the Holy "mortification of the body as a way to achieve full freedom of spirit". The piece consists of an introduction and is followed seven sonatas corresponding to each of the Seven Words and was composed 1787 by the Austrian composer by Custom Oratorio de la Santa Cueva de Cádiz.

The Tickets are on sale, the modest price of five euros, at the box office and the web Auditorium, Center of Tourist Resources Acera de Recoletos.

Then the orchestra will perform this concert other cities as Zamora, on friday 27, and León, Saturday 28.
