The next edition of the Festival of Sacred Art of Madrid will be dedicated to V Centenario

The XXV Festival of Sacred Art of the Community of Madrid, which will be dedicated to the V Centenary of Birth of St. Teresa of Jesus, was presented to the media on Wednesday 11 February.

Among the concerts to be held, highlights the inaugural concert piano, Thursday 19 February, in charge of Diego Fernández Magdaleno, National Music Award, in the theater of the School of Singing.

This concert will add four: "Homage to Santa Teresa de Ávila", cargo to the New Music Ensemble, at the Theatre School of Singing (Bauer Palace), as 4 March; "Misa de Santa Teresa", de Johann Michael Haydn, played by the Lyric Society Complutense, the Magistral Cathedral of the Santos Niños de Alcalá de Henares 7 March and the closing of the festival in the Boulevard Theater Torrelodones the 28 March; "From mystic in music. On the trail of Santa Teresa ", In con Sixth Time, in St. Peter the Apostle Church in Torremocha the 14 March; and finally, as 19 March, "Liturgical Music in Time of Santa Teresa", con Schola Antiqua, in the Church of San José de Madrid.

The municipalities in which celebrates the Festival are Madrid, Alalpardo, Alcalá de Henares, Cabanillas de la Sierra, Colmenar de Oreja, Colmenar Viejo, Collado Villalba, The Molar, Getafe, Hoyo de Manzanares, La Cabrera, Navalafuente, Paracuellos del Jarama, Pint, Rascafria, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, San Sebastián, Torrelodones and Torremocha del Jarama.
